With only three months left in 2025, it’s time to start talking about 2026! It still sounds far off, but it’s going to get here faster than you think. If you have travel plans in the new year—whether for personal or business reasons—now is the time to renew your passport. Folks often don’t think to check the status of their documents until their departure approaches, making renewals and filings more difficult and expensive.

The U.S. Department of State says that processing times for passports and renewals are longest during late winter into summer, and they advise travelers to plan ahead and apply during the slower season of October through December.

Mexican Passport Holders Need Visas or eTAs to Enter Canada

In March 2024, Canada changed its requirements for those traveling on a Mexican passport. Visas are now required if someone is driving over the border from the United States into Canada. For those flying into Canada on a Mexican passport, an eTA is required.

Mexican passport holders who will be traveling into Canada, particularly those driving in from the US, can contact us to discuss the requirements to ensure smooth travel.

Hand-deliver passports? In Boston? Sure!

When a client needs nearly three dozen passports by the next day and they’re on the other side of the country, you can’t leave anything to chance.

There was no time to risk the passports being late or lost, so Maggie hopped on a plane from Los Angeles to Boston to handoff the passports in person, ensuring the tour could make it into Canada the next day.
